Software Solutions from Patterson Veterinary
Patterson Veterinary enhances digital portfolio with a pair of announced partnerships.
Patterson Veterinary kicked off 2020 by announcing two exclusive partnerships aimed at boosting software solutions for customers: GVL (GlobalVetLink), with its digital solution that connects veterinarians, pet owners and state animal health officials and Vetology, to offer Vetology AI Radiograph Analysis Software that automates the analysis of radiograph images, and delivers reports in minutes.
GVL
The GVL software platform connects veterinarians, pet owners and state animal health officials to provide health certificates for animals while traveling. With GVL, vets can digitally create and submit official Certificates of Veterinary Inspection (CVIs), simplifying the ability to meet state-regulated compliance requirements.
“More and more people are traveling with their pets, and that has brought an increased need for animal health certificates,” said Kevin Pohlman, president, Patterson Veterinary. “Specifically, CVIs show that pets are healthy and free of transmissible disease. We chose to partner with GVL because their solution provides CVIs approved for use in all 50 states, allowing our customers to get back to focusing on their patients.”
“GVL is the leader in providing easy-to-use CVIs and other digital animal health documentation to over 10,000 U.S. veterinarians,” said Brett Keirstead, chief revenue officer, GVL. “We are excited to partner with Patterson Veterinary to offer our platform to their customers.”
The partnership with GVL supports Patterson Veterinary Technology’s key objective of providing the best, most relevant and most innovative technology solutions to veterinarian practices, according to a release.
Vetology
Vetology AI provides the latest in Artificial Intelligence radiology to provide increased speed and productivity for veterinarians by allowing them the ability to obtain remote radiograph read reports in approximately three minutes.
“The most valuable asset our customers have to offer is their time,” said Kevin Pohlman, president, Patterson Veterinary. “We realize that waiting on a radiology report can be a frustratingly long process, especially at the end of the workday. We chose to partner with Vetology because their solution is fast, accurate, and cost-effective, allowing our customers to better utilize their time.”
Additionally, Vetology leadership said the decision to partner with Patterson was an easy one, based on the two companies’ shared commitment to their customers.
“Vetology AI understands the importance of working with only the best veterinary companies,” said Dr. Seth Wallack, founder, Vetology. “Working with Patterson is an easy choice as it’s an internationally recognized best in class company and has an ongoing commitment to advancing the veterinary profession.”
For Patterson, this partnership supports Patterson Veterinary Technology’s key objective of providing the best, most relevant and most innovative technology solutions to veterinarian practices, according to a release.
“Finding the right partners that bring value to our customers is a top priority for our organization,” added Pohlman. “Patterson Veterinary Technology is dedicated to providing the most innovative technology solutions to veterinarian’s practices, and this partnership with Vetology allows us to continue supporting
that goal.”
